Lauren Methena joins Loving Consulting as Editor-in-Chief after having worked with the owner, James Loving, on a number of independent projects, including his non-profit group The Loving Collective, a group aimed at strengthening the communities of Greater Metro Richmond and surrounding areas by strengthening the businesses within them.

Her wide-ranging professional background in sales, cognitive training software, email marketing operations, copywriting, editing, vocal coaching, and music and the arts is exactly what gives her writing that flair and that personal touch. Having written for many different markets and in many different industries, she has a lot of experience to draw on when writing original pieces for clients. That experience also helps her keep an open mind, as she looks for the hook needed to catch your audience’s attention, imagination, and heart. She counts herself as very fortunate to have worked with some amazing people and amazing companies, including her mentor David L. Deutsch.
In addition to writing, Lauren has given numerous presentations and workshops, including cover letter and resume workshops and communication presentations to profesional groups, such as the local chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers. She has also been selected to lead Smart Young Business Woman Training Camp, where she will help college women have a more successful transition from college to career by teaching communication, people, and professional skills.
